Blue Mountains Astrophotography Workshop
Bringing back my series of successful Astrophotography Workshops, come and join me for a night under the mesmerizing night skies in the Blue Mountains while learning the techniques required to capture stunning milky way, star trail and nightscape photos. You will be collected from Katoomba Railway Station and transported to each of our specially selected locations in our dedicated touring 4WD, where we will take you through our signature Landscape Astrophotography and Nightscapers training package and then working to set our cameras to begin our night of capturing the night skies. We then travel between various locations capturing a variety of different astro images until we conclude once the Milky Way is out of view. Once we have completed our workshop, you are welcome to join in an online session the next evening (or as arranged with the whole group) to run through my simple and effective Astro image workflows in Lightroom and Photoshop to help you bring out the best of your images from the evening.
Autumn Colours Exploration
Join us in April, where you will be transported around the Blue Mountains in our dedicated tour vehicle, as we explore the autumn colour fest across the mountains, from Leura through to Hartley Vale, and across the other side of the Darling Causeway at famous Mount Wilson. While we travel, I will introduce you to some of the lesser known facts about the prevalence of European gardening in the mountains that has given us so much colour in the autumn months, and the reasoning behind there being so many streets lined with deciduous trees. We will also look at techniques for capturing autumn colours, and seeking compositions both in wide angle and macro, and if we are blessed with misty cloudy days, we will see how this can be encompassed into our images, so we are able to take away some stunning unique imagery from the day.
